Boiler Stack / Chimney is a vertical structure through which combustion product gases / Flue gases are exhausted to the atmosphere. These flue gases are produced when coal, natural Gas or any other fuel is combusted in an Industrial Furnace or power plant steam generating boilers The flue gases releases pollutants such as particulate matters, Carbon monoxide, Nitrogen and Sulphur oxides Etc. To disperse the pollutants over a greater area to reduce concentration of pollutants, Government environmental policy and regulations define the height of the chimney.
