Base Frames & Skids
Indus Metal Works has manufactured variety of Base Frames for Boilers or to name as Boiler Mounting Structures for our Principal Customer Thermax for their prestigious Projects such as Petrokemya , Sabic -Saudi Arabia , Daelim and Foster wheelers Projects .
These Base Frames and skids are fabricated from ready Structural or Plate Fabricated section to Suit requirements and Withstand Load Carrying of the complete Boilers and its Accessories. These Base Frame structures are Fabricated in Individual sections with Bolting Format , Assembled in Shop Floor , Dismantled and Transported to Port ,where the entire Structure is Reassembled along with the Complete Boiler and Ancillary Components and shifted through Barge to the ship to be desptached to the End User Location.
We have manufactured at our End , Grider Beams with weight of Maximum 20MT Each ,with all Butt & Groove Weld Joints 100% UT and MPI tested.
- Main Girder Beam - Size - 1650mm Ht X 800 mm Width X 10500 mm Long .
- Material – Flange Plate – 75mm , Web Plate -40 mm ,
- Weight - 18.5 MT per Beam , Total 4 nos similar manufactured for 2 Sets.
Combustors :
A combustor is a component or area of in a gas turbine, where combustion takes place. It is also known as burner, combustion chamber . In a gas turbine engine, the combustor or combustion chamber is fed high pressure air by the compression system. The combustor then heats this air at constant pressure. After heating, air passes from the combustor through the nozzle guide vanes to the turbine. These Combustors manufactured are Refactory Lined internally to withstand high temperature along the Burner side.
Indus Metal Works has manufacture many such Combustion Chambers along with its Connecting Ducts and Structure as per Customer Drawings and Design under Third Party Inspection of SGS ,TUV , IRS Etc.

U Beams :
U Beams are Staggered arrays of Stainless Steel Channels at the Furnace Exit Plane ,its captures nearly all the solid Particles suspended in the fuel gas leaving the Furnace and internally recirculates these Solids to the lower Furnace. The Use of U Beams in CFBC Boilers gives an Advantage of Uniform Furnace Temperature and provides Superior Combustion and Thermal Efficiency with low Maintenance and Improves overall Plant Performance .
These U beams are fabricated from High Temperature Withstanding Stainless Steel Material with high Creep Value to Withstand Impacts of Hot Solid Fuel Particles. Fabrication of U beam becomes critical with Close Tolerances and Machining ,due to inherent Distortion ability of the material after welding .
Burners :
Boiler burners are the central element of effective combustion system design which includes fuel preparation, air fuel distribution, furnace design and combustion control. A burner is a mechanical device that supplies required amount of fuel and air and creates a condition of rapid mixing and produce flame. These Burners are used in a wide range of industries, from refineries, petrochemical plants to power plants and pulp and paper.

Pump Mounting Sections
Indus Metal Works has executed many project for Delivery Pump Mounting Structures along with its Intermediate Connection Section Which includes fabrication and Machining in Material Grades of Carbon Steel and SS316L.
